STARVY COPYRIGHT POLICY

Effective Date: July 13, 2026

Starvy, Inc. ("Starvy") respects the intellectual property of creators, restaurants, and photographers, and expects the members of the whisper network to do the same. This page explains how to report copyright infringement on Starvy and what happens when you do. It supplements Section 6 of our Terms of Service.

Reporting Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on Starvy without authorization, send our Designated Agent a written notice containing all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list);
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it within the app — for example, the username of the poster and the name of the spot or guide where the material appears;
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated Agent
Starvy, Inc.
169 Madison Avenue, STE 38404
New York, NY 10016, USA
copyright@starvy.com

Notices that do not substantially comply with these requirements may not be actionable. Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be liable for damages if you knowingly materially misrepresent that material is infringing.

What Happens Next

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the identified material promptly and make a reasonable attempt to notify the user who posted it, including providing them a copy of the notice.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to the Designated Agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the Southern District of New York), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat Infringers

Starvy will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the Vaults of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

Users in the European Union

If you are located in the EU, you may alternatively report content you believe infringes your rights — copyright or otherwise — through the in-app report function or by writing to legal@starvy.com, in accordance with Section 4 of our Terms of Service. You will receive a confirmation of receipt and a reasoned decision.
